The difference between SBS waterproofing membrane type I and type II
SBS waterproofing membrane is a widely used waterproofing material on the market, divided into Type I and Type II according to grades. So, what is the difference between Type I and Type II? Today, the editor is here to explain this question to everyone, hoping to help answer and clarify any doubts.
In most cases, we differentiate from three aspects:
1、 Different degrees of low temperature resistance
1. SBS waterproofing membrane type I: at -20 degrees Celsius.
2. SBS waterproofing membrane type II: at -25 degrees Celsius.

2、 Different elongation rates
1. SBS waterproofing membrane type I: with an elongation rate of 200%, it belongs to low strength and high elongation.
2. SBS waterproofing membrane type II: with an elongation rate of 80%, it belongs to high strength and low elongation.

3、 Different intensities
1. SBS waterproofing membrane type I: strength of 1.2MPa.
2. SBS waterproofing membrane type II: strength of 1.8MPa.
