Construction process flow:.

·Construction process of flat roll material.

Clean the base layer, snap the line at the base layer, lay waterproof rolls, overlap rolls, handle detailed nodes, perform self inspection, repair, and acceptance, tie steel bars, and pour concrete.

·Construction process of facade roll material.

Leveling (or installing wooden boards) of the facade base layer of the enclosure structure, inspection, cleaning of the facade base layer, positioning and marking of the roll material, laying and mechanically fixing of the waterproof roll material, overlapping of the roll material, processing of detailed nodes, self inspection, repair, and acceptance, binding of steel bars, and pouring of concrete.

Key points of construction operation:.

·Laying of flat rolls.

·When laying the first roll material, first lay the roll material on the base surface according to the snap line positioning. The smooth high-density polyethylene film surface of the SBS waterproof roll material should face the base layer, and the weather resistant particle layer should face the construction personnel. Carefully correct the position of the roll material. The adjacent second roll material should overlap with the first roll material in the long direction with a width of 70mm. During the overlapping operation, first tear off the isolation film at the overlapping area of the roll material to ensure that the lower part of the overlapping area is clean, dry, and free of dust. When the two rolls have been overlapped together, the construction should be carried out continuously. The overlapping edge should be pressed with force to ensure good bonding of the overlapping edge. Repeat the above operation until the entire plane of the roll material is laid.

·The width of the short edge overlap of the roll material is 80mm, and special adhesive or tape for the roll material is used to compact and bond along the short edge overlap seam. The short edge overlap seams of adjacent PVC waterproof roll materials should be staggered by at least 600mm to avoid the formation of concentrated raised bands.

·Facade roll laying.

·When laying the roll material on the facade, align the roll material with the base layer of the enclosure structure wall according to the snap line position. The smooth high-density polyethylene film surface of the roll material faces the enclosure structure, and the weather resistant particle layer faces the structural concrete wall. Use mechanical fixing method to fix the roll material to the support surface of the enclosure structure wall. The nail fixing position should be 5mm away from the outer edge of the reserved self-adhesive edge of the roll material. According to the actual situation on site, the long edge of the roll material should be mechanically fixed every 500mm. During construction, tear off the isolation film on the surface of the reserved self-adhesive overlapping edge of the long edge, and perform long edge overlapping. At the same time, ensure that all nail fixing points of the TPO waterproof roll material are covered by the overlapping edges of adjacent rolls. After overlapping, immediately use a pressure roller to press it to ensure.

·According to the actual situation on site, the coil material is mechanically fixed every 500mm on the short side, with the nail fixing position 5mm away from the outer edge of the coil material. After completing the nail fixing operation, the special adhesive or tape for the coil material is used to bond and seal the overlapping part of the short side, and ensure that all nail fixing points are covered by the overlapping edge of the lower coil material.

·Repair of waterproof layer.

Before binding the steel mesh, supporting the formwork, and pouring concrete, the waterproof layer of the waterproofing membrane should be carefully inspected. If any damage is found, it should be repaired in a timely manner to avoid potential leakage hazards. When repairing the damaged points, a membrane of not less than 150m high polymer self-adhesive film waterproofing membrane m × 150mm should be cut and covered on the damaged area, repaired and sealed with specialized adhesive or tape for the membrane, and integrated with the original waterproof layer. After the membrane is laid, structural concrete should be poured as soon as possible. Before pouring concrete, measures should be taken to ensure that the surface of the accepted membrane is clean and free of debris, achieving the purpose of effective bonding between the membrane and concrete. During the pouring of concrete, care should be taken to prevent human damage to the membrane waterproof layer.

Problems encountered during the production and construction of self-adhesive waterproofing membranes.

There are mainly two types of isolation materials used for self-adhesive waterproofing membranes. One is the membrane with PE isolation film as the isolation material, and the other is the membrane with PET isolation film as the isolation material. These two types of membranes are prone to the phenomenon of not being able to be peeled off during summer production and construction, which seriously affects production and construction progress.

If the self-adhesive roll cannot be peeled off during production, it is greatly affected by the discharge temperature of the adhesive material. If the temperature exceeds 160 ℃, the silicone oil on the PE isolation film will dissolve with the oil in the self-adhesive adhesive material, losing its isolation properties. It will be even more difficult to peel off the film at the construction site.
