  1. Peeling of waterproof membrane and bonding layer.


  The peeling of asphalt linoleum waterproof membrane and base layer will seriously affect the waterproof quality, causing the membrane to sag and fall off, resulting in rainwater intrusion and leakage.


  Most of the asphalt linoleum waterproof membrane is because of the screed layer, the quality of the base layer is not well controlled (such as the quality of the screed layer is low, not sufficiently dry, easy to sand, the surface of the base layer is uneven), PVC waterproof membrane In addition, the quality of the ordinary waterproof membrane itself is unqualified, and the construction temperature of the hot cement material and self-adhesive membrane will cause the waterproof layer and the base layer to be not firmly bonded and peel off.


  The usual treatment methods are as follows:


  (1) In a small roof range, the waterproof layer can generally be cut and then dried, and then applied with adhesive to re-paste after it dries, and paste a 300mm wide membrane strip at the cut seam after drunkenness.


  (2) On the roof with a large slope, it can be treated by mechanical fixation, usually nailed with nails or strips at the peeling point of ordinary waterproof membranes, and then sealed with sealing materials on top of the nails (if steel strips are used, the steel bars must be treated with rust prevention).


  (3) At the joint between the roof and the wall, or the structure protruding the roof, TPO waterproof membrane is usually used at the lap point, usually after cutting the waterproof layer, the façade waterproof membrane is turned up to clean the leveling layer, and a layer of waterproof membrane is laid with full adhesion and bonded with the horizontal waterproof membrane stubble, and then the façade waterproof membrane is turned down and re-pasted, and the lap width of the membrane should be greater than 150mm.

  The situation of bulging of asphalt linoleum waterproof membrane often occurs in actual engineering, generally in the following two situations: one is that indoor steam penetrates into the bottom surface of ordinary waterproof membrane through the structural layer, the other is that there is a certain amount of water vapor in the insulation layer or leveling layer, these water vapor evaporation or expansion make the ordinary waterproof membrane bulge, bulge generally from the bottom membrane from small to large gradually develop, some polymer self-adhesive membrane waterproof membrane large and small bulging into pieces in series, The large diameter can reach 200~300mm, and the local uplift is as high as 50~80mm.


  When the diameter of the "bulge" is small (generally refers to the diameter of the bulge is less than 80mm), it is usually treated with suction and irrigation adhesive, the specific method: drill two small holes on both sides of the bulge, one hole uses a syringe to extract the air in the bulge, and the other hole injects adhesive with a syringe, and then crushes it hard to make it firmly bonded with the base layer of the ordinary waterproof membrane. After drunkenness, the two pinholes are tightly sealed with sealing materials, and when the diameter of the "bulge" is larger, the liquid coil generally cuts off the "bulge" and repairs it again.


  3. Cracking of the membrane waterproof layer.


  The main reasons for the cracking of the membrane are: low strength of the screed layer, poor quality, large area of the roof, unreasonable setting of the sub-bin joint, large dryness and wetness of the mortar screed layer leading to cracking, and the variable ambient temperature leading to cracking of concrete or mortar, etc., for the repair of waterproof membrane cracking, the repair method is also selected according to the degree of damage in the actual project.


  The usual practice is: first cut off the screed layer 50mm wide on both sides of the crack of the membrane waterproof layer, the depth direction is greater than 30mm, and then fill the PVC mastic and 3mm higher than the roof.
