Construction process of mechanical fixation method for PVC waterproofing membrane
PVC waterproofing membrane is a polymer waterproofing membrane produced by extrusion method. Due to its unique product formula, the product has a longer lifespan than other waterproofing materials and is widely used in various fields.
Today, the editor will share with you the construction process of mechanical fixation method for PVC waterproofing membrane.

Mechanical fixation method is a construction method that uses specialized fasteners to connect the roll material to the base layer.
The construction steps are as follows:
1. Laying a vapor barrier film on the profiled steel sheet;
2. Lay insulation rock wool on top of the vapor barrier film;
3. Use specialized fasteners to fix the rock wool;
4. After fixing the rock wool, pre lay PVC waterproof roll on top of the rock wool and keep it flat;
5. Use specialized fasteners to secure the edges of PVC waterproofing membranes;
6. Use hot air welding or automatic crawling machine to weld the overlapping edges.
Mechanical fixing method is generally used in roof engineering, especially for waterproofing treatment of metal roofs. The spacing and quantity of fixing parts are calculated according to the engineering situation to meet the requirements of wind resistance and buoyancy.
Using specialized metal gaskets and self tapping screws for fixation, suitable for different substrates. The construction is fast, safe and reliable.
