Thermoplastic polyolefin TPO waterproofing membrane
With the widespread application of polymer waterproofing membranes, people are no longer unfamiliar with this type of waterproofing material. Below, let's take a look at thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) waterproofing membranes together, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) waterproofing membrane is a new type of waterproofing membrane made of thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) synthetic resin combined with ethylene propylene rubber and polypropylene as the base material, and added with antioxidants, anti-aging agents, and softeners. It can be reinforced with polyester fiber mesh cloth as the internal reinforcement material to make a reinforced waterproofing membrane, which belongs to synthetic polymer waterproofing materials.
TPO waterproofing membrane is suitable for building exposed or non exposed roof waterproofing layers, as well as easily deformed building underground waterproofing. Especially suitable for waterproofing lightweight steel structure roofs and large concrete structure roofs, it is a commonly used waterproofing material for roofs of large industrial plants and public buildings.
This material has multiple specifications and models, which are divided into homogeneous type (H), backing type (L), and reinforced type (P) according to the composition of the product.
1. Homogeneous TPO waterproofing membrane (H): A thermoplastic polyolefin waterproofing membrane that does not use internal reinforcement or backing materials.
2. Backed TPO waterproofing membrane (L): A thermoplastic polyolefin waterproofing membrane composed of fabric such as polyester non-woven fabric and other composite materials on the lower surface of the membrane.
3. Enhanced TPO waterproofing membrane (P): A thermoplastic polyolefin waterproofing membrane reinforced with polyester or fiberglass mesh cloth in the middle of the membrane.
The performance indicators of TPO waterproofing membrane comply with GB2779-2011 standard.
