The welding overlap edge of PVC waterproofing membrane is achieved by using an automatic crawler or hot air welding machine to melt the surface layer of the overlapping surface of the membrane, and applying heavy pressure to fuse the two sheets of membrane into one. The long side of the plane is generally welded using an automatic crawling machine, while the short side, facade, detailed structure, and waterproof node of the plane are generally welded using hot air welding.

The longitudinal overlap width between PVC rolls is 5cm, and the transverse width is 10cm. When using welding technology, the welding nozzle is at a 45 degree angle to the welding direction, and the pressure roller is parallel to the welding nozzle and maintains a distance of about 5mm. Rolling should not be too fast.

Use a small welding nozzle with a width of 2cm for welding, usually in two passes. The welding temperature should be controlled at the 6th level, and the effective width of each weld should be between 1.5cm and 2cm.

Use a large welding nozzle with a width of 4cm for welding, usually one pass. The welding temperature is controlled at level 7, and the effective welding width is 2.5cm.
